Alexandra Spieth is a writer and director who was raised in Nashville, Tennessee and lives in Brooklyn. Alexandra is in the festival circuit for her written and directed horror-comedy feature debut STAG (logline: A loner must fight for redemption when she is invited to her estranged BFF's bachelorette party).

STAG has screened at Brooklyn Film Festival, Female Eye Film Festival (Winner of “Best Chills and Thrills Feature”), Portland Horror Film Festival, GenreBlast Film Festival (Winner of “Best Director of a Feature Film”), Portland Film Festival, Soho International Film Festival (Winner of the “Audience Choice Award”), Atlanta Horror Fest (Winner of “Best Horror-Comedy Feature”), Sohome Horror Film Festival, Renegade Film Festival (Winner of “Best Director for a Feature Film”), Garden State Film Festival, Salem Horror Festival (Winner of the “George A. Romero Fellowship”), Ridgewood Off-Kilter Festival, Lake County Film Festival, Hot Springs Horror International Film Festival, and Milford Horror Festival.

Previous to this, Spieth had written, created, and starred in the digital series 86’d (Executive Produced and Fully Funded by BRIC TV) and Blank My Life (which spans 4 seasons).

In 2023, Alexandra Spieth directed her sophomore horror feature, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU DIE. Currently, she teaches On-Camera Acting to the year two and three BFA Acting candidates at Rutgers University. In 2024, she directed Digital Showcase for Rutgers MGSA.

Alexandra has acted in over 20 professional productions, including work at Irondale Ensemble, Everyman Theatre, and NYC’s The Public Theatre. Her pilot “Immaculate” was workshopped at the Orchard Project. Carnegie Mellon University Grad.
